“Ber” is in the air. When we say ‘ber’ it would then be cold months, and Christmas would soon be coming. But before Christmas it would be Beer festival first and then souls and saints day; finally Christmas and New year. Whenever I think of ‘ber’ months I would think of Christmas and Christmas breaks and lots and lots of planning. For this year, I’ll be going to Hongkong, my very first out of the country vacation ever. Well, I haven’t thought much of my birthday. It is not that I don’t value my birthday just because it would add up to my age which would mean getting younger… oops the right word would be matured! hahahha it’s just that I am overwhelmed with my out of the country vacation which would days after my birthday, so to speak, I still need to earn bunch of bucks for the said trip.

The Oktoberfest is a two-week festival held each year in Munich, Germany during late September and early October. It is attended by six million people each year and has inspired numerous similar events using the name Oktoberfest in Germany and around the world, many of which were founded by German immigrants or their descendants.

Only beer which is brewed within the city limits of Munich is allowed to be served in this festival. Upon passing this criteria, a beer is designated Oktoberfest Beer. Oktoberfest Beer is a registered Trademark by the Club of Munich Brewers. Those Breweries are members of this exclusive Club. Oktoberfest, Beer Festival in Cagayan de Oro City will be this coming 14th of October at Limketkai Open Parking, Cagayan de Oro City. At this event, cost for a fresh beer per cup will be at P10 (limited on kick-off parties only).
